She was listening intently, glad to see the softer side of the man. She didn't mind that he said she wasn't a hunter, she figured she'd learn how to be one eventually anyways. She was smacked pretty hard by reality though, as he went from being a proud father like figure to stating quite frankly that she wasn't human. She inhaled quickly, feeling herself tensing...but as she looked at him, she found herself exhaling softly and relaxing..still holding that faint, sad smile. "Not in body, I'm afraid...I [i]was[/i] going to continue the facade until I didn't need to anymore..." She slipped off her jacket, pulling out the stakes,knife,and gun. "...but you're precious to Connor, and you've surprised me with your determination and stubbornness...so you have the right to be told. i-" she broke off, feeling a swelling of emotion, "I would ask that you don't slay me, though..." She set the safety on the gun and set it onto her jacket. "I will tell you what he will not."
