Through the blinding pain, Mithias knew something terrible was happening, out of his control. Finally, as if in response to his pleading desire for mercy, everything when blank, numb, and it seemed as if time had stopped. A moment went by, and he sat back in his chair. Then, gradually, he felt like he was breathing, relaxed, and he took notice of the the smell food. Sitting in the chair, he looked around, memorized by the details of the memory that plagued him like a bloodhound. It wrenched on his guilt and regret. It was sickening to relive it so vividly. The golden-eyed vampire looked upon his old enemy. "This is a dream... What have you done to me?"
