Thanks for the catch!!! Edited that part out. I knew that! As a history major, I'm ashamed!! haha. 

And I am definitely interested in seeing the response of the people in the UK as well. I think it might not be so bad since all we are doing is sending ships to patrol what is considered an "economic interest" in the Confederacy. We won't really be pursuing a true war with the Union unless something drastic changes, but the Anaconda Plan is hopefully shut down. I love alternate history!!!

Quick question, we have those regulars. Are they already stationed in places around the world or just in the home nation?
