If I may, I'd like to play as two characters. The first character goes by Shai Long, who acts as the Queen's personal bodyguard. He's an older man, mid-to-upper 30s, and is a trained master samurai (not to say that he's the best, but he's pretty dad-gum good at it). He's a morally upright individual who usually tries to do the right thing, but he will not hesitate to kill someone in the line of duty. Sometimes he acts as a part-time advisor for the queen, but he usually prefers to stay out of politics. He prefers the simpler lifestyle of killing assassins and keeping out the riffraff. Thus far, he has never been seen without his katana. The second character goes by Jarus Ingsol, who acts as the Queen's official advisor. The only problem is that he's as corrupt as they come. He's a ruthless individual who manipulates the Queen so that things always tend to go his way. He prefers to remain the advisor, since being on the throne itself would make everyone turn their problems to him. When the Queen holds court, Jarus usually has her ear, and slyly seeks to manipulate the Queen into making some poor decisions. He and Shai Long are usually at odds with each other, and Shai Long has threatened on more than one occasion to cut him into pieces. Despite this, he really is a wise and intelligent person, and when troubles come her way, Her Majesty is quick to turn to Jarus for a plan (although that may not always be a good thing).
