IMEGs are organized according to the requirements of their missions and of the current situation, but all retain a distinct combined-arms capability. This makes IMEGs a highly versatile force, and they maintain enough autonomy to be active away from parent formations. Soldiers are organized into squads of thirteen. Squads are further broken down into three fireteams of four, plus a squad leader. A fireteam is comprised of a team leader, an automatic rifleman, a grenadier, an assistant automatic rifleman, and a standard rifleman. The standard-issue weapon is the Type 209 assault rifle, which fires an intermediate 6.5x39 mm cartridge. A carbine version is available, designated Type 209C, and a squad automatic weapon variant, the LSW 209. A designated marksman rifle variant also exists. The grenadier is armed with an assault rifle, plus a rocket propelled grenade launcher. Antipersonnel and antitank warheads are carried by the squad. Additionally, low-velocity, 40 mm under-slung grenade launchers can be found in use by team leaders. The 80 mm PF-120 is a recoilless antitank rocket launcher, issued to some squads on an as-needed basis. It fires fin-stabilized HEAT warheads from a self-contained, disposable launch tube. At the platoon level, heavier weaponry may be employed as needed. The 7.62x51 mm Type 260 general purpose machine gun is often seen used in two-man teams to provide suppressive fire for friendly infantry. The M124 is commonly used by sniper teams, and the .50 cal M130 serves as an anti-materiel rifle. Fire-and-forget and guided antitank missile launchers are used by AT teams and AA missile launchers can be found in armories. It can be adapted to other environments simply by changing the color palette:

The 3rd maintains 48 armored vehicles based on the ZBD-38 chassis. The AAV is the main amphibious assault vehicle used by the CAIM. It employs a 40 mm automatic grenade launcher and a 12.7 mm heavy machine gun for defense. While heavily armored, it is not designed for prolonged combat with enemy armor and exists to transport Marines to and from objectives. It sports a 25 mm autocannon, plus a coaxial and turret-mounted Type 260 machine gun. The vehicle carries both Armour Piercing Discarding Sabot-Tracer and High Explosive Incendiary-Tracer ammunition for the 25 mm gun. The vehicle has a number of variants, from a TOW-fitted AT platform, an AA missile platform, to a command and logistics vehicle, and more. It is well-protected from armor piercing small arms fire. Its cannon can fire a variety of rounds, a few of which include APFSDS, HEAT, and antipersonnel airburst shells. A LHAT (Laser Homing Anti-Tank) round is also in use, which can be guided by the crew to target enemy vehicles from a more vulnerable top-down angle, or by a direct control, through which rotary and VTOL craft can be shot down from the sky. Fánróng proved to be an agricultural gold mine, owing its success to a prime location of resources and the cooperation of the Astani Mining Corporation. Motivated with the success of the colony, Canton began to set up more operations in surrounding areas, forming a strong cultivation network. To its ire, however, other nations had seen its progress and foreign establishments were beginning to emerge on Dacyria. This, combined with a recent surge in attacks by the planet’s indigenous races told Canton it needed the backbone of more than colony militias. To secure its holdings on the planet, the Canton Alliance deployed the 3rd Interplanetary Marine Expeditionary Group, a task force of more than 14,500 soldiers and personnel to Sakira. Other:
