Wind whipped at her hair as Kensi raced down the pathway. Music blasted in her ears, drowning out the sounds of her heavy breathing. A quick glance at her wrist let her know that she'd run five miles already. Maybe one more and then she'd head home to shower. It was early morning, the sun barely risen from the sky. She'd woken up that night in a cold sweat, remnants of some type of dream on her mind. She'd brushed it off and set out to run. She had lunch with her parents that day. It'd been a while since she had seen them; about a week. It was strange for her to go so long without running into her father at least, especially at work. But today she was off and she planned on spending it with her family. So busy in her planning, Kensi barely noticed as she rounded the corner and slammed right into something hard and warm. --- Agent Phil Coulson looked at the woman in front of him, gesturing for her to head towards the main conference room. "I just feel like there's more to the story. I'm assuming that's what this briefing is about, after all." He stepped through the doorway, making sure that Alisha had followed him inside. He made to hold her chair out for her and then sat down himself. "I'm hoping that's what Fury wants to talk about." He quieted after that, the door opening again and a rush of other agents spilling into the room. They chatted as they went, finding seats along the long table, each one pulling out folders and paper.
