It'll take more work but it'll make the narrative flow more smoothly and it'll just be more fun, imho. I also agree with Pudding. Multiple characters seems to be a good idea. The other characters could become all-knowing spectators if/when that person loses both/all of their characters. This way, everyone will be on equal ground. Does this sound like a good idea?
