Elim watched in amazement as suddenly a Thunder Spell was cast by Jared, the boy who wielded that strange weapon. The Keyblade is what he had heard it been called. Elim almost wished that one of the thunderbolts had hit him, so that he could acquire the power of that spell, but figured wishing more damage upon oneself while already roughed up probably was not a good idea when there could potentially be more enemies afoot. Maybe some other time. For now though the Prince, or whatever other noble title that was appropriate for this man as Elim knew the type from not only the clothes, but just the aura they gave off, told them to come inside after having his soldiers pick up Jared. Soon enough they were inside, away from the elements. Sure Elim wasn't feeling like the others were, with all of the time he had spent in Icewind Dale, he just sort of got used to intense cold like this, but Elim was always glad to get out of the cold just as anyone else was. Elim looked at Jared in front of the fire and just shook his head, not feeling too much concern as this was just him not being strong enough to face the cold. It wasn't that he was heartless, but it was just simply if any of these people, including himself, died on this mission then it was because they weren't strong enough to survive, nothing else. When Elim heard Kasus's rather... loud and inelegant introduction of himself before royalty Elim almost wanted to punch him in the back of the head. He didn't know how this guy was raised, or if he had been ever around a king before, but from where Elim came from if you introduced yourself as loud as that without bowing you would be thrown out of a castle due to lack of social graces. Sure Elim knew that he wasn't raised on social graces either, but the young blue magus knew the basics of how to behave properly around royalty. Elim wasn't going to correct him though, there was no point in trying to repair the damage that was done by him. Still, there was a question he did have for this Prince. Elim stepped forward, doing a graceful bow of introduction, as was customary when introducing oneself to loyalty to show them the proper respect, or at least it was where Elim came from anyway. "My name is Elim and it is an honor to meet you, your Majesty. Also there is no need for your kind thanks, we simply did what anyone else would have done in that situation." After his short introduction he stood up. "I do have one question though, your Majesty, if I may." Elim knew that whenever talking to one of royalty one should always do so with the utmost respect, as Elim was doing now. "You said that these are the Southern Isles? Does it usually get this cold down south here, or is this winter something that is a bit more unpredictable." Indeed Elim was a bit curious on that issue, on why it would be so cold in a place called The Southern Isles.
