Connor felt safer sleeping in his jeans and shirt then he did anything else while on the road, liking to be ready for anything, but since he had used his shirt to make a bandage for Elizabeth, he went to his duffel bag while she was in the bathroom, shrugging out of his jacket and into another shirt, taking his boots off. The work Connor did, and the fact he liked to keep himself fit gave him a toned body, which helped fight off monsters and other things that go bump in the night, while also putting an emphasis on cardiac and respiratory aspects as well. It had saved his life a few times. The shirts he wore were however typically baggy and loose, giving him freedom of movement. He packed up while Elizabeth was in the bathroom, organising his weapons again, he made sure he had all he needed, and quickly washed the coffee mug out in the bathroom sink when Elizabeth was out, and set it to dry. Then he brushed his teeth, made sure the door was locked and all the curtains shut tight, before crawling into the bed. Once more at the closeness of her, Connor's heart started to best rapidly, although whether that was instinct or something else, Connor might never know, however soon his heart had slowed to a calm, steady beat. When she asked what year it was, he replied sleepily "2014" and recited the date as well. Although he wasn't too sure if they'd even had 12 months in a year 300 years ago. Perhaps he should take a quick history lesson, but he had never thought to lay with a vampire who had no memory of the last 300 years.
