Lily is a small girl of barely 5’2” with gentle green eyes and short black hair. She has a very dynamic sense of style and it’s quite clear that she cares how she looks. Rarely will one find a spec of dirt on her or a single hair out of place. Her Mark of Arceus appeared on the back of her right hand, so when she isn’t on Faraway Island, she wears a single glove over it. However, when in private and with the other Guardians, she very nearly flaunts it. A white-gold anklet of emeralds which her father gave to her mother for their tenth anniversary adorns her right ankle at all times.

Personality: Lily is likely among the bubbliest, most excitable people you will ever meet. Her attention span is amongst the shortest you will ever see. The smallest things can completely take her from the most important conversation of her life – [I]especially[/I] if it’s cute. Anything cute, vibrantly coloured, or, god forbade, shiny will capture her focus the moment it’s seen. Not to mention, when she gets excited, it’s typically an over-reaction. Furthermore, don’t as her to do much physical labour beyond caring for Pokémon; lifting, running, pushing, pulling, etc. are all things that she likely won’t be much help with and she’ll do whatever she can to avoid it. Despite her love for Pokémon and excitability, Lily can be rather shy and very modest. Furthermore, she’s a clean freak and absolutely hates being dirty. 

Special Abilities/Traits/Attributes: The girl is quite adept when it comes to calming Pokémon. Even by the standard for Guardians, Pokémon tend to flock to her. Her true talents lie with young or small Pokémon, however, because she has a very delicate, gentle touch and takes caring for Pokémon very seriously. She also has quite an affinity for the arts, though it’s rather rare to see. She can dance and can play a harmonica surprisingly well.

History: Lily was born in Saffron city to a businessman and a stay-at-home mother. It was not until much later in life that Lily found out, but her mother was actually once, surprisingly, one of the best combative trainers in Kanto before she got married and decided to have children. Lily was the middle of three, but her older sister and younger brother were never more loved than she, nor visa-versa. All-in-all, she had a very normal life before going to Faraway Island. It was not until after her departure that life changed drastically.

When she was eleven, she found that her [I]need[/I] to participate in the care for Pokémon. When her Mark appeared, she showed it to her mother out of curiosity, but the woman was a bit more worried about it until the arrival of the Elder. Though her parents were quite reluctant, they accompanied her to the island to help her get her things to her room and see the facilities before promising to visit soon. Between her siblings and the distance between them, their visits were a little bit scarce, though they would often speak over the phone if times lined up well enough.

Even on Faraway Island, Lily had to work hard to keep up mentally. It’s quite clear that she isn’t the smartest of the Guardians, not by a long shot. By no means is she entirely inept, but there are times that she can be rather helpless when it comes to intelligence. So, with the all of the effort she put in, there would be times that she barely spoke to her family at all. During one such phase, her mother had an accident. Apparently, the woman was on her way to pay a surprise visit to Lily for her fifteenth birthday when a terrible accident took her life during the trip. Left to Lily was her mother’s Gardevoir, one of the most beautiful Pokémon she had ever known. Without one another, neither one of them would have been able to handle the woman’s death. She’s one of only two physical memories Lily has of her mother, the second being her anklet.

On Faraway Island, her affinity and love for eggs and baby Pokémon proved useful for both herself and the others of the island. Namely, she helped Zeke hatch his Riolu. He promised he would make it up to her and it did take quite some time before he could, but he did in a rather amazing way. One day, he invited her to the beach, saying he had something to show her – “somebody she had to meet,” he said. He dove under the water alongside one of his companions to direct him and resurfaced with a shape quite a ways from shore. When he returned, the shape seemed to be rather snake-like. Upon fully emerging from the water, the Milotic was a sight that Lily beheld in absolute awe. The two would speak every day after that, and at some point, the Milotic officially requested to be paired with her.

History: Sylveon was just an Eevee when she paired with Lily. She was the first Pokémon that the Guardian partnered with and the two have done nearly all of their maturing together. She had always wanted an Eevee and when she was named a Guardian, her parents spent a lot of time scouring the adoption centers for one for the girl. The two have been partners for a very long time and Lyra is almost definitely the most confident amongst all of Lily’s partners.

History: Serenity was Lily’s mother’s first Pokémon and the fourth to join Lily’s team. The two helped one another through her death, as they were close all through Lily’s childhood. Serenity has always been one of the most beautiful Pokémon Lily has ever known and was actually the first to show her dancing. The Gardevoir is a matronly, gentle soul that always holds an air of wisdom about her. Considering she was once a competitive battle Pokémon, Serenity’s ability to be protective is quite impressive.

History: Caesar hatched from Lily’s first egg. He means a lot to her for that very reason and she nearly freaked out when she saw the baby dragon and vowed to never let anything bad happen to him. Even to this day, he’s her baby, and neither of them care to have him evolve.

History: Milotic is the newest addition to Lily’s team and the two were introduced by Zeke, who had met Milotic while exploring the waters around Faraway Island and reaching out through his Aura. After seeing and speaking to the Pokémon, he decided she and Lily would get along very well and repaid his debt to the girl who helped him hatch his Riolu by granting her audience with the most beautiful creature of the sea. After a few weeks, she officially asked to join Lily’s team.

History: Pina was Lily’s third Pokémon, acquired by a hatching. However, this was not an egg given to her by training. She found it, but it was nowhere near where one would find a natural Pokémon egg. In fact, she saw some inconsiderate trainer with four Pokéballs already on their belt who clearly didn’t want another to take care of. Lily came to believe that the trainer had a pair of Pokémon which had laid the egg and he couldn’t take responsibility for it. Maybe he couldn’t afford to feed it, maybe he didn’t want to take it to an adoption center… But as soon as he was gone, she gently wrapped it in her hoodie, placed it in her bag, and took it home.
