Yes, the heart will kill most supernatural monsters with the right weapon-Stake for vampires, silver for werewolves, D'jhins, shape shifters...and holy water will stun them all, but you should be careful with holy water, or Dead Man's blood" 

He realised he had forgotten to get some more off of Marl, so he'd have to find another source. He watched her go over to the weapons, and study the gun, grimacing slightly, remembering how he had shot her with the special bullet, and he still hated himself for that. 

"Well, now its just learning how to hit the heart" He said, picking up the dagger he had dropped when she had kissed him. He aimed for a tree, and hit it right in the middle when he threw it. "Like that. works with stakes or anything else that can stab or pierce or anything like that"
