I'll just go with the 1st thing which represents something I deeply care about and do not give much thought to what people might call me. 

In a German forum we'd go on and call Jennifer lost the war »Addy« (-> administrator) or »Moddy« (-> GM) because Germans have this thing for abbreviating daily words. Example: Lappi for a laptop computer, Gebi for Geburtstag (=birthday), Eli for Eltern (=parents) etc. 
But here we could get more creative until maybe he kicks one out. XXD

As to me: hit me with suggestions... but plat makes absolutely no sense. :P 
...like plane would be fine, since it is the same thing - or people - after all. 
A friend of mine calls me platypus, which is even longer but gives him a good laugh or smile.

Btw I'm already 30, in case anyone wanted to know.
