Kijani had been barely paying attention when Sue stepped up to Mimic's door. But the thumping bass caught her ear, and she watched. Before she knew it, her jaw was open and hanging. Sue could move. She hadn't seen that coming at all- the ease at which she turned and twisted and arced herself, keeping Mimic well off balance with the loud music. And then it got a little too real, and the noise (just noise alone!) took out the room and a good chunk of the building. Kijani peeked out from the paper shield she'd reflexively created for herself, with hers and several other people's notes. Her eyes were round with wonder. Then there was silence, Sue must have stopped the music. She left out of the somehow still standing door, and Kijani was gaping at her along with half the school. She'd been there. The one stared at. Feeling like you were on display for the masses. She didn't want her friend (were they friends?) to go through that. So Kijani got her legs under her, stood, and started to applaud and cheer wildly. "WHOOOO! GO SUE! YOU ROCK!"
