It was cleaned of ash and soot by the restoration company only a few weeks ago. That would have gotten dust and all too. That's why it's so weird. After I thoroughly check heat, I'm going to see if maybe it's a software problem. I can also check and run it without my graphics card, just to see if maybe that's causing at least a part of the problem. Worst case, I'll ask my boyfriend about it. He has his Master's in Computer Science and literally started programming before I was born. So, he might be able to give me some more ideas if I run out of guesses myself.
