Lauren came out from the door to the storeroom, looking towards her co-worker Dale and tightening her apron.

"Okay, I've just finished making sure we have everything stocked." She noticed that the cafe had suddenly gotten an influx of people, and that Dale was waiting for a new customer to give him his order. It wasn't something she really expected right after opening, but it was nice to skip the boring waiting part before people would start coming in. It looked like they were all people around her age, which was even better.

"I can take the next order!" She said, loudly enough to catch the attention of anyone who would still be waiting.
