Are you implying a feudal system is an expertly crafted system of stability? Cause, it's not. It relies on the opinion of your underlings with little to no administrative oversight to check and balance the dukes and counts to reel them in if they get uppity. And medieval arms are impractical in this world. Not saying you can't use them, but when the armies of sheep-husbands move on the British I imagine they'll be gunned down, or will be gunned down by any ally of the British power. One helicopter could lay their armies to waste.
I am not. The implication is that the system is pathetically unstable and out of touch - when you have to fight a war with a region where the population density is a joke and suffer horrific losses, and when your leader has no political experience, you're going to get cut down the moment they pick a fight with anyone who knows how to operate any sort of war tech. I'm intending to roleplay as they slowly realize that, no, a feudal system led by an elderly country man whose main claim to power is 'got on his feet first' isn't going to do them any favors at all. EDIT: Looking back, I should probably note that the application makes two assumptions: 1) The United Kingdom was a major combatant in the war. 2) Wales is seen as a joke by the rest of Britain - hence the readiness to dump huge amounts of nuclear waste in the middle of the country, and the fact that as soon as Wales is cut off from the world it immediately regresses a thousand years.
