I should take a stab at this, I'm bored. I first started looking into RPing just as an outlet for writing. I had written a few short stories of my own as a wee middle-schooler, and then started to look for something else to do with my writing. I believe I just googled "roleplay online" and RPG came up. I lurked around for a bit to get a feel of the place, and eventually made an account under the name "Skillcape", I was into Runescape at the time, don't judge me. My very first post was in a casual roleplay about a "school for the gifted" (how original). I had not posted in the OOC for it, nor had I posted in the Interest Check. No, I just jumped right into it and wrote like 5 paragraphs, just to get shut down because I hadn't signed up for it or made a character bio. How lame, right? Fun fact, I've never actually posted more than 3 times in a roleplay on this website. Just gave up on all of them :rolleyes I took up the name "Eight" for no particular reason, it's my favorite number and I was surprised it wasn't taken, so I just jumped on the chance to use it. Later on, around a year ago, I got the mods to change it to "8" in the name-change thread. Fun fact, I am the only RPG member with a username under three characters. Spam is a rad place because of the tight-knit community, the ability to say (almost) whatever I want, and be myself. That being said, for the longest time and until just recently I put on many personas, in an attempt to be cool or fit in. I don't know, being myself is cool though. I'm cooler than any fake personality I can come with, nine times out of ten. I tend to leave and rejoin Spam a lot, taking hiatuses lasting anywhere from a month to a year. I always come back though :wub Other interests besides roleplay/writing would include fashion and design, watching absurd amounts of documentaries, listening to music, and to a lesser-extent, video games. I recently bought a Wii U which has kept me a bit occupied, but it's the only console I own. My PC unfortunately is broken to the extent I cannot play games on it, even though my Steam library is rather large. When (if) I graduate high school, I'd like to pursue a degree in some form of multimedia or design. I either want to end up making documentaries, or designing clothing. Sorry for not writing much, I like to keep things short.
