Aëyr, selkie. Western Watch Tower. Slippery, Stealthy, Endurance Training; running and aquatic conditions. --- Seeing her hit make contact, Aëyr again moved. This was not the first violent engagement the selkie had been a part of. She'd fought off a couple cutpurses or bandits here in there during her long treks alone. However, this was a new experience for her, in two ways. Firstly, no longer was she alone, hoping to take out an assailant so that she might flee more profusely; today she must stay and fight alongside her companions. She must work as a member of a team, and play her part within it. Secondly, this would be the first engagement where the stones she sent forth from her sling were intent on killing her foes, not merely disabling them. It was altogether a new experience, and a rather nerve-wracking one. She again began to run, circling around to the left of the combat but being sure not too get past her comrades either and find herself amidst the enemy line. As she ran, her feet slipping effortlessly across the ground, she continued to sweep her sling through the air in tight and controlled circles, again building up the momentum needed for an accurate swing as quickly as she could. It only took her two rotations to reach maximum speed. As she drew level with Abida, she released the stone, throwing it towards the right-most skeletal archer, hoping to crack through his bone. Aëyr's aim was directed at his head in his ducked-down state, but were he to stand, it was intended to crash into the bones of his hip. If she could just pick off these weaker opponents one by one, then the group would stand a better chance at formulating a plan of action to counter the giant creature before them.
