Name: Jasper "Bear" McQuade Gender: Male Age: 25 Animal: Grizzly Bear Bio: From the time he was young Jasper knew he was different. He was always stronger than the other kids, always able to run faster, lift more, and climb better than the other boys. His parents thought he was sick or something was wrong because in the winter he could sleep 12 to 14 hours a day and never stopped eating. Due to his animal like tendencies his dad had nicknamed him Bear. His father was a logger on the outside of town and made the family living by cutting trees for firewood or construction. Bear grew up working alongside his father using an axe from the time he was 8. By the time he was 16 he could down trees faster than most of the grown men in the village. On his 16th birthday he was working in the woods and was scouting trees for a new cabin when he began to grow feverish and lightheaded. He feel to his knees as his head began to feel like it was trying to turn itself inside out. He slowly transformed into a bear, at first it freaked him out but he felt more free and alive as a bear than he had a regular human. Eventually he learned to control his turning but he always made sure no one was around him and swore to keep it a secret. Every spring the village always had always had a spring carnival that consisted of pie eating contests and various activities including feats of strengths. By the time he was 19 he had been the winner three years in a row and had been banned from competing. Bear began to grow restless the older he got and eventually struck out on his own. He has done odd jobs here and there to make coin to survive but not much more. He always carries his trusty axe with him.
