HA! If you're here for a Legend of Zelda RP then I got you. This is nothing like that. If you really had your heart set on a Legend of Zelda RP then I apologize, but this is equally if not even better than what the title suggests. However I suppose I'll have to prove it to you, it's only fair since I just tricked you (or not depending on why you clicked on this topic). So, lets begin; I should of course start with why the title is so fitting, in this case it is not a play on the main characters name but literally a link between two very different worlds. One is our world (assuming you live on this earth). With you know, good old reality and stuff like that. The other is somewhere I'm sure otaku have wished to go with all of their anime obsessed hearts. That's right, the world of anime. With ridiculously large chested girls and people who will often use street lamps or refrigerators as weapons. To some degree I'd like to think that everyone would love to spend a little time there, its probably a wonderfully dangerous place. But what if you had to go every night? What if you had to watch your nightly adventures play on your own T.V. screen? It might not be as fun or perhaps it would be infinitely more. Either way you're stuck and since you're stuck I should tell you the back round of this lovely, or unpleasant, predicament you're in. Welcome to lower Manhattan, the year is 2018. Every thing is so good, like creepy good. Its almost perfect, almost. You see the problem is when everyone is constantly happy, being happy becomes the new normal and everyone quickly becomes bored. They don't even have reality T.V. shows, everything is so good that everyone realized how pointless and awful these shows are. So what does the world turn to after everyone spends the day enjoying the weather or being active and happy? Anime of course, and one in particular. This anime is called 'The Story of Ozenbuel', loved by the entire world, somehow subbed and masterfully dubbed in every language it is the single most watched T.V. program ever. As awesome and loved this Anime is, no one knows who made it or who funds it and nobody really seems to care. They are too busy loving and watching the anime. The world has failed to notice how mysterious this anime is, even the voice actors are unknown as this anime has no credits at the end. That's the story on the side of the real world, now prepare your self for the fantastical amazingness that is the anime side. Welcome to Ozenbuel, which is in a word serene, at least it was at first. The citizens found life to be rather boring at times, but enjoyed the fact that they weren't involved in the world's troubles. Their monarch was a smart and benevolent man, and the choices he made for his land made the entire world respect and worship him. Even the people in a democratic land liked him so much, that they legally entered the society and changed their ways of life to live in the city with them. At first, the monarch was fine with a few people coming into the city in order to get away from all of the fighting. However, the city's population got out of hand, and he had to start kicking people out of the city, never to return. He made an announcement that made the people understand his choice, and many people began volunteering to leave for the sake of others. These people were given reprieve for the night and were allowed to stay in the palace in order to plan out their next step in life. This is where things began to change. Everyone spent the night at the palace, and they all slept in a room cut off from the rest of the palace. They were kept under guard from the royal guards until the next day. Everyone woke up and went to the main hall in order to receive some supplies for their departure, yet the monarch wasn't there. Everyone was curious as to why the monarch wasn't where he said to meet, and the guards decided to check the monarch's chambers. To their major surprise, the monarch was laying on his bed... dead. Blood was soaked into the bed, and his body was cold. The benevolent monarch had been assassinated. This made the guard panic, thinking that the people who were accepted into the palace had something to do with it. Fortunately for those people, the guards who were watching them never let them be alone, and not a single person in that group had left during the night. With that in mind, the group of the people still offered to take their lives for the sake of suspicion, and the guards all agreed to let them off the hook. With all suspicion out of the way, there was still the issue of telling the people about how the monarch was dead. They couldn't come up with a way to explain to the people how their monarch was assassinated. Then they began to actually pay attention. They noticed that one of the people in the group looked and sounded exactly like the monarch. Knowing this, they came up with a plan. The guard decided it was best to hide the monarch's death in order to keep everyone from panicking, and the group agreed to help them out. The plan was to dress up the man who looked like the monarch and pose him as the monarch until they could find out what happened to the real one. And with that, the plan was under way to find the perpetrator and restore the city's honor. Luckily this little ragtag team found a lead, exactly what that lead was and where it will lead them will come later, the group will consist of somewhere between 6-8 people including the monarch. Disclamer: This is a reboot/remake of another roleplay. I am only the GM until or if the original GM comes back. Links and updates will be added later.
