Butbutbut the only way to be able to fully use one's element is to exemplify the trait under great duress from the opposite! At least in the canon of my story. And also, the barebones formula is beginning and end. Not Beginning, middle, and end, just Beginning and End. The [i]steps[/i] to get to that end are very different in each story thread.
