Miyoshi observed the last Bear going up in an extraordinarily large explosion. It was, perhaps, a fitting firework to end the squadron's first sortie together. She was far away from the rest of the squadron, having successfully chased down the cruise missiles, so she had a bit more ground to cover. Putting her plane into a lazy series of turns, she found her way to her flight lead's six. Listening to Overwatch and Excalibur One give their sitreps and air debriefings, Miyoshi couldn't help but smile as she looked around and saw the rest of the squadron forming up around her. It was such a random hodgepodge of planes and pilots from all over the world who had never flown together before, and yet they had succeeded in thwarting a deadly attack force. Sure, each one of them was a very skilled pilot, but it had still come together remarkably well, and she and her Foxbat had provided a crucial piece of the puzzle.
