Being held as close to Connor as she was, she could again hear his heartbeat and feel his warmth, though she noted neither were as intense as before. She smiled faintly, as he comforted her, her body slowly relaxing as the pain ebbed in intensity. She was glad, whatever outcome it was, the pain was leaving at least. When she could think clearly enough, she whispered an 'I love you too" through her now quite course throat. She coughed after that but otherwise felt fine. With the ebbing of pain, her heartbeat slipped into a stronger, more steady rhythm...leaving her tired - drained physically and even emotionally from her ordeal. Since she was relaxed, Elizabeth noted the presence of a pounding within her body, one that did not hurt her but was strong enough to feel through out her entire body. And she looked up at Connor with the unspoken question, almost afraid to let herself believe the truth, "Connor...?"
