Xiu tapped her finger to the metal table in the room with four white walls. Four seemingly enclosing walls as the only decoration to be seen in the room was a long mirror. She looked at her own reflection revealing that her other hand was holding her head up by the chin. The next items she took note of in the room was the man in a jumpsuit who was bald and had a very unkempt beard. His hands were hidden behind his back, and the note that chains made clinging reminded her that they were tied there. The chair she was sitting on was connected to the floor; much like the table. Her taps rang out in a slow tempo before the sound of her voice broke what was a silence in speech between her and the man. “Look, Taika, we have some options here and I wish for you to choose the better of the two. First, you confess and get off with two years. Good behavior and you can get off in one with parole. Second, you keep lying to and voiding my questions and end up in there for ten years and I still get the man I want.” Turning to him she gave her signature eye of annoyance. Giving him the feeling he was no more than dirt to her at this point. “I think it wise you choose the first, or else I might just not ask as nicely.” Her hand that had been on her chin picked up a glass of coffee she had and she took a drink of it waiting for his response. Upon putting the glass down she saw his sweating, hesitation, and finally acceptance to his fate. Bingo. she thought as the beans were laid out in front of her. “It’s Johnathan Nash.” He said after a moment. Lowing his head in defeat he spilled it all. “I helped him get the plans to the building… he found that her could use the sewer to get to the building and did it. H…He is an earth bender! And can bend metal, he left the academy and force about ten years ago they say.” Xiu sighed slightly at the explanation. This meant she had a trained fighter to face, but a small feeling of excitement was in her. A challenge was always a good thing for her. She wished for it, and now she had it. Not knowing she was about to be unable to complete it with one letter. The reduced sentence was confirmed his reduced sentence to him and stated he was doing the right thing before she stood up from her seat. She had been tracking a recent criminal who was on a terror spree in republic in damaging property and theft. Having hurt two civilians already her priority was stopping him before he eventually killed someone. Xiu finally got the information she needed to get him, and when she escaped the white room she had a large smirk on her face. Several members of the force ran up to her and congratulated her on her achievement. She had a name and a plan on hand and with it would easily find the man they are after. If it was accurate, but she was sure it was. Her plan was to head to the location now, but on her office desk there was a certain little spirit. It was a peculiar spirit with an oblong head which held a letter. She took the letter from it and read it. Suddenly it crippled between her fingers as she knew she wouldn’t be able to catch her crook after all. In a matter of moment she had ordered a few officers to head where she had planned and took her lead from the office. Even if she wasn’t in charge, they knew she told them to catch a major criminal and didn’t hesitate to possibly loose him. Once outside she hoped on her trusty stead. Her stead was a motor bike that had you leaning forward to sit on it. Helmet on she then lowered her goggles and revved the engine. Listening to her baby purr she thought Time to ride. Quickly bolting off the curb onto the street heading to her determined place of meeting. She was confused as to how she got the letter, more so of her Master’s odd words the night before. He told her that a great change was going to occur soon in her life. For a moment she had been worried it was his final speech before death, but he simply coughed and said he wasn’t going to die so soon or easy. As her thought of the master finished she parked in front of the trademark Council Building. All of its glory led to a small excited smirk. She may be mad from losing her criminal chase, but her personality saw this as a new event unfolding. A mystery to solve, and possible action if this letter meant a matter of importance. She let out a small laugh to herself before setting her helmet on her bike and waking it whilst raising her goggles.
