She listened to him, returning to sip at the water in an attempt to quench her new thirst. She blushed though, when he reminded her that she was human and needed to talk like one. Yes, she would need to add that to the list of things she would need to work on. A list, she was sure, that was going be be quite long. At about half the bottle, she finally succeeded in ridding herself of her thirst for the night, gasping for air again. Number one, call yourself human. Number two, learn how to drink water properly. She was quite certain she had never seen Connor gas for breath when drinking out of a water bottle. She sighed, yawned, set the water bottle bottle on the nightstand, and then slipped further into the blankets and close to his body. She was only conscious long enough to listen briefly. Soon though, she smiled as she was lulled to sleep by not one-but two heartbeats. And the next morning, he would -again- find her sucking on his shoulder...though this time, there is no chance of her biting him for blood.
