When the Conduit landed the Princesses seemed absent, probably elsewhere. The treaty was presented to them

The Treaty:
This treaty hereby establishes the Union of Space Faring Nations. Signers of this treaty agree to the terms listed below, and must follow them or face expulsion from the Union. The Union is meant to help further cooperation and peace. 

Research:
All members herebye agree to share all technology. Research shall instead be redirected to one group working together to create technology for the entire union.

Military:
A establishment of a Union Military for the common defense of all nations within it. It is to be equipped and staffed as best as possible, and nations are required to contribute to it. The Union Military may only be used for defensive purposes unless via a 2/3 vote of all nations within the Union. All Union members are also automatically allied, and required to defend each other from attacks by other nations.

Citizenship:
Citizens of member countries are automatically citizens of the Union, and are free to move to other nations within the Union as they please. Goverments may however restrict access to areas based on cultural or security reasonss.

Economy:
Citizens of the Union and companies are allowed to operate elsewhere in the Union as they please. Tariffs are restricted to 20% on all goods.
