Well the way it works, or i would like it to work is magic is used to power machines. So you have your basic. Fire/heat, water/ice, Lighting/electricity. Basically think of how we live today but its all powered by a type of magic that gives the things we use power. Weapons dont use bullets but instead shoot whatever Magic the person can control.
