The Conduit transmitted the treaty to the rest of the Federation, and waited a moment for the numbers to come in. After the polling, the Conduit finally responded.
"The nations of Lakfakalle have democratically accepted this treaty. 97.4% of the population has voted in favor. The Union of Space Faring Nations has been formed." He said in a monotone voice. While the reaction was underwhelming (What with the Conduit being just that), all present could still feel the significance of the moment, knowing that a great thing had been created that day.

[b]Nikolien System, Contact[/b]
A message was sent to the fleet from the newly restored Aif starship. An Abh woman appeared on the screen of the receiving vessel.
"This is Captain Ablïarsec Néïc Dubleuscr Bœrh Parhynr Lamhirh of the Abh Imperial Space Force operating under the Lakfakalle Cooperative Federation Exploratory Command. This vessel is the Warship Kelsof, it is fifty thousand years of age and left over from the ancient Aif Empire. It was sent to this system to assist a research project and the colony we have established here. Our homeworld is forty light years away, in what we call the Kalle System. I do not represent the majority of Federation citizens, our nation is comprised of multiple species and internal factions. We do not wish for a battle, instead we request a peaceful first contact. If you wish for a face-to-face contact, then please send a shuttle to this vessel or dock with it."
