The First Doctor awoke from his nap to the sounds of the TARDIS’ engines. Opening his eyes, he hurried into the console room, where he saw the central column bobbing up and down. Sure enough, his ship was in flight - but how? Concerned, he rushed over to the console to figure out what was happening, but by the time he made it over there, the TARDIS’s engines had stopped. “What’s going on?” he whispered to himself. “Has the ship materialized? Where?” He activated the TARDIS scanner, and was met with a rather familiar sight. “…The junkyard on Totters Lane?” he asked, before looking back down at some readings on the console. “About 50 years into the future from when I last saw it, though…” he hummed, before switching off the scanner and unlocking the front doors. The situation in front of him was troubling, no doubt, as the TARDIS had seemingly been dragged from point A to point B by some unknown force. Still, the only clear option in front of him was to investigate. With his walking cane in hand, he exited the TARDIS, closing the doors behind him as he looked around cautiously. There was no obvious threat in sight, but he knew better than to assume his surroundings were safe because of that. ----- Elsewhere, in some concealed hideout, a fleet of metal-covered aliens watched the young Doctor on their own scanner camera. “TARDIS summoning successful!” one of them cried out in a monotone, robotic voice. “The youngest known Doctor has materialized!” “We shall capture him, and use our salvaged Time Lord technology to exterminate him such that he will not be able to regenerate!” another chimed in. “The Doctor will be exterminated throughout history! All of time and space will be rid of him! All his victories will be erased!” Bobbing their eyepieces excitedly, the Dalek fleet hurriedly left the room, shouting their most well-known battle cry as they set out on their mission, “Exterminate the Doctor! Every Doctor! Exterminate! Exterminate!”
