I'd rather wait for the right moment instead of just say what my characters ability is. It could be something tiny like illuminating a room that has no light but some kind of purpose not just: My name is Blah, my power is blah. Seems rather boring imo. Especially with adult supervision ._. Maybe if someone needs a candlelit I'd let him do his thing. I want my characters first real noticeable display to be rather memorable in my eyes a bit.
