Lupe walked along the barren ground, the dust on the ground getting kicked up by her boots as she walked, ice blue eyes scanning the empty ground. To her right, a little way off was a ruined clan's camp. Switching her path to the camp, Lupe quickened her pace to a fast walk, unsheathing her daggers - just in case. Wings flapped beside her as a small black form dashed past. Lupe jumped slightly, before glaring at the cat that was now sitting at her feet. "Dammit Erebos. You're gonna get stabbed one day by doing that." She muttered, halting to pick the purple eyed cat up, setting him on her shoulders. The leathery wings rustled as he flapped them a few times to steady himself, before folding them and curling his two tails around her arm. Lupe sheathed her daggers and fondly patted the cat's head, before walking forwards again towards the camp. As she drew closer she could see skeletons dotting the ground. Grimacing, Lupe quickened her pace, unsheathing just one of her daggers, as she drew closer, holding it behind her, arm tense and ready to slash at anything nearby. As she drew close to a nearby skeleton, Lupe took note of the charred bones and other snapped ones. Erebos jumped off her shoulders as she knelt down, fingers running across the deep gouges in the bone. Vehemendogs. She then turned her attention to the charred bone. Scraping off some of the burnt residue, she smelt it. Yes, this was left by flames. A quick look around found the origin of the flames - a torch lay nearby, probably dropped by whoever was holding it when the dogs attacked. A sound nearby caught her attention and she spun, the other dagger coming out as she held both of them in a defensive posture as she scanned the area, her teeth grinding as she scowled. Another rustling sound nearby dashed past, knocking over a tin with a loud clatter. Lupe muttered curses under her breath, and sheathing one dagger, she slowly unholstered her 9mm, flicking the safety off and cocking the gun, loading it with three bullets. She took aim just in front of the noise, following it as it moved around her. Then a small dog jumped out at her yapping furiously. The poor thing had six legs, two tails, three heads and tumors all over it from mutations. Erebos fluffed up and hissed at the mutt, growling. Placing a hand on Erebos's shoulders, Lupe took aim at the dogs middle head, her finger growing tight on the trigger, before she shot, the bullet hitting it's mark and blowing the dog's middle head apart. Then in quick succession, Lupe shot the other two heads, putting the canine out of it's misery. Erebos hissed at the dog's now limp carcass, before looking up at Lupe. "We should probably get out of here. Don't want any Vehemendogs to find us. The bastards always return to a kill site." With that she turned, holstering her pistol and sheathing the other dagger, walk off, with her feline companion by her side.
