I had actually reasoned that. However, Time-Space manipulation requires anchors. No one in the canon, for good reason, magically makes shit puff to their hand. Kunai require that special tag to teleport to and other jutsu require a secondary dimension, e.g. the Sharingan, or a seal that is their static reference point. Like I said, the jutsu itself was fine with me, but I don't believe it is effective in terms of actual jutsu mechanics,
