Was doing some plot brainstorming and came up with the next episode.
- I've almost completed the "Edolas" arc on the videos and got an idea.
Did we want to introduce an exceed?

I was thinking, after the competition they head back to Magnolia. They have no idea where the next key is going to be and therefore have to find another job while they wait.
Somewhere on that job (which we need to come up with) they find an homeless exceed being bullied or picked on (almost like bad kids do to dogs or cats...)
It turns out the exceed was from one of the 100 eggs sent to find the Dragon Slayers. However, he/she (I have picture for either) didn't have the memories (like Happy) on his/her orders and never did find his/her dragon slayer.
Instead the little exceed has lived the past x amount of years on his/her own trying to survive and avoid getting caught.

In the end they take the exceed back with them.

- The main plot would be around the exceed vs the actual job. And it will be a nice break between finding the keys. Especially as they have no clue where to go next...
Not that I don't. *whistles innocently*

We can also tweak it where the Exceed had been with a Dragon slayer for several years (this way the exceed isn't to toughened up for street life - would make transitioning a bit harder) but his/her friend had been killed leaving the exceed alone.

OR.... (can you tell the idea is exploding in my head? ) He/she lost her dragon slayer and can't find him/her for the past year (or whatever).
The team takes the exceed in but it leaves the door open to find that dragon slayer (down the road of course - assuming we don't kill him/her off. Either way, it will be another episode in between).
