Name: The Spiral Domain: Chaos and Dreams. The Spiral has the power to alter reality to frightening degrees, mimicking the dreamscape sentient beings visit when they sleep. This power is near limitless, just like that of the world inside the dream, but is restricted, as the Spiral cannot physically exist in the same world as the others, and must be invoked. Objects that bear the shape of the God's namesake produce the necessary energies to channel his powers, but ultimately, the Spirals need to be more complex and large to fully recreate the land of dreams, otherwise the Spiral would exist without limit, in every single organic being, due to the spiral helix of DNA. Otherwise, the Spiral exists to create chaos, the necessary changes in reality, social upheavals, natural disasters, and most importantly, anarchy. This is often caused by a major Spiral symbol staying in a place for too long, producing a curse, or somebody living around a spiral object for too long, inciting strange, ideal-changing dreams. Personality: The Spiral has no obvious personality, as it cannot properly communicate with the outside world, however, it does have goals, often voiced by its two avatars, Lucid and Manic. The Spiral's goal can change from benevolent, to corrupt, to outright incomprehensible. The way people see it is even varied inside the myths of its worshipers, sometimes shown as a Benevolent bringer of change, or a destructive force of Chaos. Until something finally breaches the barrier to its home dimension, the world will never know its true self. Appearance: The Spiral has no known appearance, and is mostly depicted either as its namesake or a giant Hermit Crab, wearing a Spiral seashell. The Spiral's two avatars in the physical world, Manic and Lucid, have distinct forms, however. Manic takes the form of a man in a time-displaced entirely white business suit, down to the shoes, with blonde hair, a yellow bowtie held together with a pink and purple Candy Skull, and a perpetual shadow over his face. Lucid takes the form of a stone statue, held together by bronze joints. It has a crescent moon for a head, and the statue portion of its body perfectly reflects the body of the person it appears to. Symbols: The Spiral is primarily associated with its namesake, and the color green. However, ti also has other symbols, such as the Impossible Triangle or Penrose Steps. Trivia: Inspired by the film Inception and the manga Uzumaki, so if you're familiar with either, you might be able to see what's coming, with enough unique twists, of course.
