Just thinking, but I strongly suspect that Magus, in his current form, would be more then able to survive most apocalypses that could be thrown his way. He doesn't need to eat, he doesn't need to breath air, its unclear if physical weapons could hurt him... 

All he really needs to do is find a dark hole in the ground deep enough to wait out whatever is happening up above and odds are he would be perfectly fine.
