He played his role well. Brought on at the last minute like some kind of specialized penalty-stopping machine, easily the biggest man on the pitch (two inches taller than our main keeper) and then he confidently swaggers to his goal and tells the Costa Ricans he knows where they're gonna shoot. You could see the last Costa Rican's hands shaking when he put the ball down to take his penalty. He was scared out of his mind. It was brilliant.
