He's lazy (or rather, in his defence, 'conservative' of his energy) and sharp- tongued. He'd rather lay in his bed than attend to something that he deems insignificant. It is commonly known between the peers of his household that he has a talent/penchant for magic, to which he always disagrees and states that it all comes through hard work and practice. Jack does not like conceited people, he always tends to silently scrutinize them. Jack believes in 'conserving' his energy and tends to come off as lazy to many people, as he does not like doing anything that counts as a waste of energy. He tends to put in more effort in jobs that are, to him, "worth wasting energy on."Despite this, he completes all his school work on time and is rather smart. However, this belief also hinders his magical prowess. He is rather blunt as he does not hesitate to state his opinion, even during critical situations. But as with the house he is in, Jack is very honest and empathetic. Even with his conservative nature, he can't leave anyone who is struggling alone, he tries his best to help them as much as he can and loses quite a lot of energy, acquiring many friendly bonds with the people of his home town. Even with his cynical-esque personality, he usually tends to try and see the good in people.He dislikes crowds and those who put themselves on a pedestal as he believes we are all born equally.During tense situations, he tends to grab his chin and begins to formulate the most logical way around the situation. He thinks all people are entitled to their own opinions and that one can't change how another thinks without firmly changing their beliefs first. SHORT BIOGRAPHY: Jack was raised by his neglectant parents. Needless to say, he was usually the one who looked out for himself and was almost always left alone. Jack's childhood lacked his own parents. The only other person who supported him during this time was his aunt, who would give up the time of day to be by his side when he needed it the most. Unfortunately, Jack's aunt soon passed away due to unbeknownst reasons and was left on his own once again. Soon enough, he ended up to be quite independent. He knew at the back of his mind, that if you wanted to fight a battle and survive, you had to learn to do it alone. Growing up, Jack had treasured a particular neighbour. Though he tended to avoid her, he always had an eye out for her. Jane always stuck around and eventually grew onto Jack. She was the complete polar opposite of Jack, always energetic, optimistic and quite dependent. Their bond grew as they both made up for something the other lacked. Jack felt devastated when she moved away, but chose to bottle up his feelings as he waved her goodbye and held in the tears that threatened to fall. Jack always knew he was drawn to magic. Coincidentally, he was ordered by his parents to apply to Kingsbridge (school of hwaaat). Considering his laziness, he had reluctantly agreed. He was never really the productive type and thought that a change would be good, and joining Kingsbridge would enable him access to all the knowledge that he would need in order to harness the magical energy he had taken a liking to.
