The Austrian Empire[/CENTER]

In the interest of protecting the majority German populations in Schleswig, Lauenburg, and Holstein, the Austrian Empire demands the transfer of these territories to the German Confederation under the jurisdiction of the Kingdom of Prussia until such a time as a self-sustaining government may be established under Frederick, Duke of Augstenburg.

The Austrian Empire echoes the sentiments of the Kingdom of Prussia:

[QUOTE]1. All soldiers and ships owing allegiance to him shall be evacuated from all land south of the northern border of the Duchy of Slesvig within 48 hours.

His Majesty shall invite within 48 hours of the receipt of this missive to meet representatives from all nations signatory to the Treaty of Constantinople (1861) as well as the Kingdom of Sweden and person as well as writing renounce on behalf of the House of Oldenburg and the Kingdom of Denmark any claim to the Duchies of Slesvig, Lauenburg, or Holstein in perpetuity as well as formally acknowledge the legitimacy of the Prussian administration thereof.[/QUOTE]

Should the Kingdom of Denmark not comply with these terms, the Austrian Empire and our allies in the German Confederation shall join the Kingdom of Prussia in a declaration of war.
