She smirked as she saw how much he blushed at her little tease. She didn't get time to tease him further on the matter though, as he lunged against her. She felt a set of instincts take over that she personally hadn't felt in a long time. In a flashed, she pulled out her gun and prepared to fire, aimed at his head. For a moment, the steely intention of killing a threat might have been notable to someone experienced enough to read such things. But almost as quickly, she registered that it was Connor rushing at her, and her gaze returned to normal. She flipped the safety on and let go of the grip, causing the gun to flip and hang limply on her trigger finger. She took a deep breath and exhaled it, be slightly shaky. Her heart was pounding with the sudden blast of adreneline coursing through her veins. It was so bad, she could hear it in her ears. "Connor." she said quietly, almost as if using the word to register that it was infact him..and not a hunter trying to kill her as a vampire. "Don't do that."
