Tonight was to be the night... The night she would start this virtual school and apparently be able to experience it like a normal person. In a way, Lily was very nervous, scared, and excited all at the same time. What was it like to see? The colors that people fond over.... What were they like? People.. Ever since she was born, she had to rely on her other senses to distinguish a person. Of course, she had only been able to touch herself, her sister, and her mother in order to figure out how they feel like. Despite her nerves, she wasn't going to pass up this opportunity after both her and her sister worked hard to get Father to agree. Only two years... That was enough... Thankfully, her sister helped Lily set up the computer and program and she had the helmet on currently. All she had to do was press the button her sister instructed her to press. Taking a deep breath she closed her useless eyes, and pressed the button, her body laying comfortably against her fluffy bed, beside the computer set up. Her eyes were kept shut, afraid to open them. Until she heard a voice, a mechanical neutral one. Getting enough courage, she felt her eyelids slowly open, flinching as a odd light seemed to grow with them. A foreign sight.... It was not darkness.... Intrigued, her eyes opened further to see what she presumed to be a person. By just the shape, she could tell this was her, having felt herself enough to know such a thing. Stunned, she pierced her lips as her eyes finally examined what was happening. As her copy finished speaking, she took a deep breathe before whispering. "Start."
