Viral was just beginning to stress out at this point, the very idea that he was so close to dying just haunted him and what was worse was his body wasn’t healing as fast as it could do. He hadn’t ate food in a very long time and that could had easily been affecting his healing, then there’s the fact that he had just recovered from great internal injuries. He now had another internal injury; for some reason, fate was telling him he wasn’t destined to live much longer. Whatever Vegeta wanted to do, he couldn’t say anything to stop him from working his medical magic if he so wanted to. Frowning a little, he stared at Vegeta before looking to the ceiling, “Cauterize…? Hmph…is that so…” he muttered as if it really didn’t make much of a difference to him, “I am…not in the realm of caring about how I’ll feel. I’m already scarred…so why should I care?” Shu was definitely more than just a little confused, everything in his world had been turned around and he was even finding himself confused over who the others were for a moment until he managed to see their faces. Yumi was fairly easy, she was close enough to him for her to recognise her, but he definitely did feel confused over what had happened to him. He felt fairly numb all over with the feeling only gradually returning like a slow wash over his body, his sore looking eyes just staring up at Yumi with a difficult to read emotion on his face without the use of his body language, “Oohhh…my bad…I should be more careful…” he muttered, smiling a little. He wanted to move his arms but those hadn’t had their feeling return to them yet, his muscles all feeling too tired to move while his mind was only gradually starting to recover, “I’ll lay down…am I laying down…? You’re so nice…” Viral had barely realised Yumi had come into the kitchen before Vegeta spoke up, his eyes turning towards her as he gave her a quick look. She was certainly taking this a lot better than she usually did, she was usually screaming or going full out angry at them all for going out and getting harmed pretty badly. Watching her for a moment, he let out a sigh and looked back up to the ceiling. She was probably trying to be optimistic, he didn’t think he could ever be like that considering what had happened and how easily it had managed to happen. Just as Yumi was about to leave, he looked to her when she spoke up, looking a little pale as she did. He could only think she looked like that because of his wound, frowning a little as she stroked his hair before promptly leaving. He didn’t know what to make of that, it was definitely something he was particularly distraught about when she was trying her hardest when she was trying to be brave. Letting out a pained sigh, shutting his eyes for a moment, “Just…do what you can. If I must feel more pain, then so be it…” With Shu not all too sure where Yumi went for a moment, he spotted her come back to him when he was just beginning to feel alone again. Smiling a little, his expression changed when he spotted the fruit to a particularly curious one, “Ooohh…yummy…” he muttered, staring at it right as it came up to his face before managing to take little bites out of it, looking fairly slow to chew and even react to being able to have even more. It was like he was in slow motion compared to how he usually was, his eyes still curiously on the fruit. T’charrl was still a little curious to what Takeshi was on about, finding a little curious to Takeshi saying he could handle the pain when he was obviously having a little bit of trouble. Maybe he should had given Takeshi a much more powerful painkiller, but then again he’d probably be rendered near to unconscious or incredibly dopey if he did that. Moving around calmly to the next knife in Takeshi’s other leg, he smiled a little as Takeshi spoke, tilting his head a little. He didn’t quite understand what he was on about, the General wasn’t going anywhere and it didn’t appear that Takeshi wasn’t realising that. Letting Takeshi speak, he reached over and gave his head a little pat before going straight back to the knife, “You so silly, what do you mean?” he spoke calmly, taking a hold of the knife but not removing it quite yet, “You didn’t send the soldiers onto your friends, so how can it be your fault? The General sent them, not you. Are all Earth people like this?” he questioned him before pulling the knife out and quickly coating it in some gel, “Shu’s energy flow is still there along with his mind. He’ll be fine. I don’t know about your friend, though. I haven’t been able to look at his mind, but his energy is quite low”. Tossing the dagger casually to the side, he moved around Takeshi again but instead moved his hands over his head. Summoning up his energy, his hands glowed for a moment before he removed them, tilting his head a little, “Your energy is flowing not too well, it’s still blocked by whatever was on those knives. You’d only get killed by the General and that wouldn’t be too good, would it?” he spoke, nodding a little, “Yes…that wouldn’t be good at all. The General isn’t stupid enough to send an attack this close to the city. He wants the city people to like him, yes…? He’s probably waiting for word back on the attack, but soon he’ll find out no word will return to him. Don’t you see? We have time and you have warriors to protect you too. You should rest and take care of your friends, make sure they don’t blame themselves too. It would be bad if they went to find the General before you could, right?”
