[/quote] If you put down your nation has high on the Communism scale, it means you expect your nation to practice everything that makes Communism what it is. If you're doing it right, then the people of the society will be equal. You can account for a nation having a certain ideology and not living up to it, but then you wouldn't put the nation as high on the Communism scale to begin with. You could have a closed, conservative nation that is tolerant of other nations and cultures, but the extra values feel redundant. If a nation is generally conservative, it's of course going to be a more closed society. And tolerance is already sort of covered in the Government scales with the Hawk v. Dove thing. The values are fine, and can cover different aspects of a nation, but it doesn't seem like the best way of categorizing a nation's policies.
