Ray screamed a wordless shriek, completely unnerved by this... this banshee that had been sneaking up on him. He reflexively recoiled at the sight and could only stare in horror as it moved towards Asher. David hit it in the... head, or something, making the... [i]thing[/i] more visible briefly, and apparently dazing it. With some effort, Ray worked up enough courage to let loose a warcry and charged the thing, or it's last location, with his knife. He ran into something which didn't appear to be there and the blade of his knife disappeared and started oozing this nasty purple goo. Was it alien blood? Ray didn't have time to think about it when his knife flew out of his grasp and he felt a hard blow to his gut fling him against a wall. The last thing he thought before hitting the wall and blacking out was [i]If it bleeds, we can kill it.[/i]
