Remi grunted as she took the venom laced blood and slicked it along her left arm in a strange pattern. The blood began to boil as her kekkei genkai kicked in and her eyes became the Fallen's Eyes. She felt Shijima before she smelled him, for only he could manipulate the earth and send the strange resonance pattern. He was one of the kinder members of the Empress' troops toward her, and she felt a small sense of camaraderie with him. Long sentences, complex thoughts, they were not needed with him. A few words and an unspoken understanding was the most he gave her. And she was more than grateful for it. "Yes." she answered quietly. She looked up at the looming figure of Shukaku. She didn't need to ask how he knew of the Queen, it was easy to assume that there was one. She knew though, that she needed to be careful; her mother was incredibly old and powerful, and was next in the familial line for the title of Hornet Sage. If she called for Neferti, it could easily be her last battle should her mother decide that. Granted, she doubt her mother would let this be that last battle, she still insisted that if she had enough energy to deal with the newest brood, she could still serve as Queen rather than a boring, stuffy Sage. That brought a quirk to her lips, for as strong as Neferti was...Sekmet was stronger. Sekmet wasn't a name, it was the identity that every Hornet Queen took on. Their name before that no longer mattered. She'd met Sekmet once, and couldn't remember being so intimidated before in her life. It was at that time that she was allowed to call Neferti Mother, for Sekmet had given her a name meant for Hornet Nobility: Aten. She laid her hand on the ground, "Mother Neferti, hear me. Aten begs favor to protect that which Sekmet demanded. Please, help your brood child..." Nothing happened for a few seconds before the ground began to heat rapidly beneath her hand. Soon, a pattern of blinding plasma spread from her hand until it became a pool. The girl grit her teeth as she poured chakra into the summoning. The plasma kept forming as it began to take shape. The summon was almost as large as Shukaku, until the plasma exploded violently. In its place, the two headed, monstrous Neferti took its place. "Your mother has heard your pleas, Aten. Calm now." came a quad-toned voice of the Queen. Neferti's wings snapped open, and released a gust of wind that could have ripped the trees from the ground had she not been merely shifting them. The spines along her back and her dual stringers glowed brightly with the plasma of the Mitarashi. "Take a military ration, Aten." the girl did as directed. "This will not end quickly." She shifted, making the ground shake but she was careful of Shijima.
