Jackdaw couldn't help but grimace, but it was at herself, not Varus. She'd gone strutting about and forgot her place, the captain was right to point her out. She'd have plenty of time to scorn the newcomer later if the opportunity arose, but for now, they were getting ready to set off, and the last thing she wanted to do was delay them. With a straightening of her posture and a salute, she nodded to him, and then made her way back inside the ship, making a B-line for her quarters. Best to make sure all of her things were in tact and in place before the took off.
