--Since their founder's appearance in the first great ninja war, the Ametsuchi clan's name has sent fearful chills up the spins of shinobi around the world. For it was in that war that Fudō Ametsuchi, with only his two sisters and a band of seven mercenaries did they carve their name in the tomes of history through the use of his exceptionally deadly techniques, based on the process of vibrations. While he did his best to preserve the lives of his family and those he cared for, he and his siblings managed to defend against wave after wave of shinobi, slowly crippling the opposing army's ability to oppose them till they simply picked up camp and retreated.

In their time of respite Fudō forged the greatsword, Djibaku sora([I]地縛空[/I] 'Earthbound Sky'), which would later become pivotal in the defense of their home, Tori no Kuni, the Country of Birds. It was in the next six battles that the blade proved its worth, tearing through swaths of enemies when its master's energy was channeled through it. It was said that while those battlefields were littered with dead, there always seemed a sense of peacefulness that drifted through the place, as if the calm song of birds were being sung to mourn the nameless dead.

It was in this way that the Ametsuchi clan was born, through bloodshed and defense of what was theirs. So they rose in their notoriety first becoming mercenaries for hire so as to grow their funds and buy more land for their expanding family. It took many years for their place of rest, their home, to be truly complete. However, even as their home was made, the 2nd great ninja war erupted between the established nations, forcing the Ametsuchi to once again defend the Land of Birds, for others sake and their own. It was in this war that the Ametsuchi found that despite their skill they simply could not hold out against the forces of both the Wind and Earth countries. So they sent envoys to the Land of Fire, seeking aid in return for a few of their own and a permanent alliance. Knowing not to put all their eggs in one basket, they also sent envoys to Earth and Wind, hoping that one or both would agree to hold their battles off of Tori no Kuni's soil.

Initially the clan found that their luck was not so good as the Land of Fire declined their request for Aide en-mass, proposing only to send a few of theirs in return for twice the number of Ametsuchi. At first they were hesitant, but upon the negative response of the Wind country, they sent nearly the requested amount to Konohagakure, receiving compensation as had been planned, though slightly less than what had been offered before.

[Unbeknownst to them, this sacrifice would prove pivotal in the survival of their clan much later. For them it was however a grave loss.] Still, things were not all bad, they had skilled shinobi from the Land of Fire on their way now...and in the next week they received notification from the Land of Earth that they would assist them so long as they lent no help to the other lands from that point on and trained some of their own shinobi in the ways of the Ametsuchi in the days to come. Thinking this acceptable, Fudō, now a very old man, accepted their proposal, and so they were saved by the grace of one of the five great shinobi countries.

While one might think that this would decrease the worth of their own shinobi and make them seem less desirable, it did not and in fact their relationship with Iwagakure eventually forged a second Kekkei tota, known now as Jinton. While the Ametsuchi were incapable of its use for the most part, they proved instrumental in the creation of the technique, allowing the Land of Earth to achieve more than just one measly victory in the time of the Great war. Still, at the end of it all, the war settled and lands were divvied, order was restored, life returning to the tremulous peace that had come before.

Yet, despite the cease in direct war, violence, and the need for those who would carry out such heinous acts were still necessary aplenty. Taking advantage of this, the Ametsuchi continued their mercenary craft, but this time much more underground than before, making it more difficult to tell whether it had been one of theirs who completed the missions, though their employers would sometimes know the truth. Their business continued on and Tori no kuni profited from it, becoming a noteworthy place in the world, though still far below the status of the five great countries.

It was enough for the Ametsuchi to feel accomplished in their way of life. Nonetheless, they eventually shut down their business, deciding only to take high paying contracts only so often, and instead dedicating themselves to the reinforcement of the defenses of Tori no kuni in case war erupted once more. They have been doing so ever since, and thus far no force has breached their walls, including the Empress.

However, the Ametsuchi, and the Lord of Tori no kuni have agreed to cease any and all mercenary functions 'cept those approved. However, they have adamantly and repeatedly refused, and rebuffed attempts to enter their territory. The Ametsuchi, thus far, have not taken much interest in the conflicts between the Empire and the other small forces, which seem to pop up here and there. Nonetheless, they remain vigilant for a chance to raise the standing, and perhaps expand the borders, of their home among the birds. This is not known by outsiders.

Besides their skills in combat, the Ametsuchi have also become renowned in the creation of many different froms of tools, be they of war or not.--

Standing at 5'3 and weighing in fairly healthy for her height, Kyōakuna is a healthy woman of lean, but strong build and luscious curves. Despite her modest bust, she has her mother's generous hips and hourglass frame making her quite pleasing to the eye. However, her beauty comes mostly from her fierce red eyes, which possess strange silver specks placed throughout her iris as well as a slight luminescence of the same color. With her multicolored hair, ranging from blues, silvers, greys, and blacks Akuna is often described as exotic especially since she has such luscious skin, though very lightly tanned by the sun, it is still quite luxurious. Along with the dress seen above, she wears silver stockings with red proliferated lines going up their outer sides. Her Konoyo no baishitsu is often layered over her outfit in such a way so as not to modify its appearance. The materials actually blend in quite well, though on her stockings the materials are arranged so as to blended lines from silver to black, interrupted by the aforementioned red lines. Overall she is a refined and fierce looking woman with an exotic flair to her appearance and an air of confidence about her making her a somewhat intimidating woman to approach.

[B][U]History:[/U][/B] Having been born as the heir to the Ametsuchi clan, Kyōakuna has been trained and sculpted to become the next clan head by both her parents and the masters of the clan. While she played with the other children, be they of her clan or otherwise, there was little difference between her and the other children. It was only on the training grounds and under the eyes of her father that Akuna was different, it was there that the ferocity in her eyes shone with an almost gleeful joy and her body learned to move properly under the strict tutelage of her parents. She enjoyed the training, even though it took her from her friends for a time it brought a fire into her heart, and a joy that she would never forget through all her years.

As she matured her friends did too, but slower than she for her mother began to tutor her as well, teaching her to manage her time wisely and choose what was truly important to her, now and what would benefit her future. Still, Kiea was gentle with her only child and so always supported her pursuit of happiness, knowing that her father intended the same, but could not always express it as well.

Learning some of both from her parents, Akuna picked up the focused ferocity of her father, Senaru, and the kind and gentle cheerfulness of her mother, Kiea. Even as she settled into her rebellious teens she continued her training, though now she would go off of her father's scripts and schedules more often, sometimes not even showing up and instead enjoying her time with friends while her mother covered for her. Overall things were good and they only got better when she found out her mother was with child soon after her own 13th birthday.

It was only 9 months later that her younger brother, Kukkyō was birthed into the world. He was a bit annoying for the first few years, but still she could never help herself around the little tyke, loving to hold him and rock him to sleep when her mother needed a little break. She enjoyed it, she'd always loved children, as they seemed to share a similar kind of fiery joy as the one that she held constantly in her fierce silver-red eyes.

Over the years her brother grew on her and even though he could be a pain sometimes, Akuna never truly minded, after all, she cherished her younger brother deeply. So the bond of the two siblings grew and grew, with the boy eventually growing up to fit his name, becoming a strong boy who aspired to reach past even the height of his sister. At that time everything seemed all fine and well, Akuna had gone on her first few official missions, her father insisting on it despite their clan's general refusal of such contracts.

It was for her growth so she went, knowing that in some cases her father did in fact know best, though one day she'd prove him wrong, that was for sure. While the missions took their toll on her psyche, Akuna tended not to refuse them under the direction of her father. Gradually they ate away at her naivete, and for brief periods of time her once fiery eyes would go cold and hard.

It was a good thing her brother would always bring her back. By now she was 20 and her brother was 7, but despite his age he came to his sister, saddened by her overshadowed, distant eyes, and hugged her close. When that alone did not work, Kukkyō would always go get their mother and together they'd hold her, and so slowly the cold thawed from her heart as the warmth of her loving family pulled her from her dark revenue and rekindled the fire in her heart till finally it shone once more through her fierce eyes.

Understanding what she had gone through, Senaru managed to draw forth a measure of understanding, though he still failed when it came to gentleness. However, from then on he gradually stopped facilitating her training, feeling he had taught her most, if not all, that he could. The rest was for her to discover and he was sure he would be proud no matter what she found.

In some ways he was right, in others...well, not so much for it was in the next few years that she developed her skills splendidly, becoming as powerful as her father had been in his prime, and then taking it a step further. He was not only proud, but rather overwhelmed by his daughter's achievements, though never unhappy.

It was only when the Empress' faction appeared and swept through the nations like wildfire, cleansing all opposition in her wake. However, when her forces knocked on their door they found that not only was it locked, but it was unreachable to them. As her army would approach, particularly when they held ill intend, the Land of Birds, they would gradually find themselves debilitated by a mysterious invisible force. Finally the Empress sent an envoy, and the individual was able to make it to the Lord of Tori no Kuni and eventually the Great Ametsuchi Compound, one that was quite well known despite its location in a minor nation.

When questioned regarding Tori no Kuni's defenses, the Ametsuchi clan's reply was simple, but eloquent for they said these words, [B]“It is the Utawa rete inai indō - Karu no funsō(Unsung requiem – Cull of Conflict). In other words, the Unsung requiem of those who have fallen in their siege of these lands, and the song that defends these same lands and those who would attempt to throw themselves against it.”[/B]

Since then they have been left alone and so her father has set his worries aside, bothered not by the world outside their protective sanctuary. Akuna however did not understand how her father, and her clan, could sit idle while a tyrant swept her forces through the nations and wiped clean the world for...for what?! She didn't understand it, and so she departed the compound. While she never renounced her position as the next heir, she decided that her father would be receiving no correspondence from her for quite awhile.

So he never did, and with this he was unhappy, even more-so with his daughter's foolish decision to attempt to trifle with a force she could hardly understand. Still, he knew he could not stop her, and he had no intention to, he just hoped that she would survive her encounter with death, he hoped she had inherited his tenacity....

Since then she has settled in Konoha, holding up her clan's long time agreement with the village that they would come to their aide should the need arise in the future. So she has joined the rebellion despite not truly knowing why the Empress would do so heinous a crime as the violence that her actions has instilled and the oppression that she upholds in her realm. Regardless, she wants her gone, along with her tyrannical rules, for despite the peace it might bring for a time, it will, in the end, only foster more conflict than it stops. Such is simply the nature of tyranny and Akuna knows this quite well, she's done her homework after all.

[B][U]Personality:[/U][/B] Fierce in her confident and fiery nature, Akuna is a woman of many shades, possessing a fire and chill within herself that forms a balance of kindness and compassion for those who earn it. While she can be gentle and kind, Akuna is nonetheless a cunning and dangerous individual, capable of outsmarting some of the best in their fields, and frightening the wits off of lesser opponents. She carries with her an air of confidence befitting of her future standing and quite considerable range of skills. She is assured in her own abilities and unafraid of even those who might dwarf her in raw power or sheer intellectual ability for everyone has a weakness, and she the aptitude to realize and exploit them when necessary.

A woman who believes that freedom is quite important, Akuna is currently in a state of rebellion to the new order that the Empress, Shoko has forced upon the people. While she is no naive girl, Akuna still holds true to the belief that at their cores people are good, though she also believes in the rule of exceptions, especially in regards to such a field. Still, to her what Shoko is doing is wrong, and so she must be overthrown, or at least had some reason drilled into what Akuna believes to be a stubborn head. Nonetheless, Akuna does have her reservations in regards to the rebel force as she believes that the path that they are heading down may not be the best in the greater scope of things, after all they are essentially looking to start another war, likely at great cost to both themselves and, with any luck, the empire.

In terms of people, Akuna gets along best with children, loving to take care of them, though she is beyond decently skilled on the social battlefield –though she does have some trouble when it comes to those of the opposite sex to whom she has interest. Yes, for despite all her confidence and proficiency in and out of combat, Akuna still has her shy girlish tendencies and so will often experience some shyness around those whom she, I don't know, might have a crush on? Regardless, such is natural for her age and of her experience so there's nothing wrong with a bit of bashfulness here and there, right? 

Beyond this there are truly only two facets of Akuna's personality that should be brought to light, the first being her cold focused combat oriented mentality and the other being her fiery, not to mention unstoppable, temper. While she may not have a short fuse, Akuna's anger sure does make a big bang, usually causing some terrible collateral damage...and let's not even [I]talk[/I] about what the object of her rage gets hit with. In stark contrast with this side of her is the cold ferocity that is her combat mentality; a state that comes over her only when faced with a truly dangerous opponent, or situation. IT is then, and then only, that the cold look from years ago resurfaces and a dangerous, but controlled, bloodlust enters her system. Let the sage give mercy to whomever happens to rile her in either field as she certainly won't....

Konoyo no baishitsu ([I]この世の媒質[/I] 'Earthly medium') and Ten no ugoki([I]天の動き[/I] 'Heavenly Movement')

[B]Description:[/B]
This pair of tools make up an essential part of Kyōakuna's fighting style and thus are essentially indispensable. Konoyo no baishitsu refers to the steel, iron, and carbon dust that Akuna has imbued heavily and repeatedly with her chakra over the years. This is however, not mere dust and is also infused with a fuuinjutsu known as the Kuchiyose: Raikō Kenka thus allowing her to summon it to her at any time from any distance unless a sealing jutsu is applied to the material. The dust is exceptionally sturdy and while it can be heated the dust, for the most part, cannot break down anymore than it is already. However, the dust can be heated so as to turn it into a liquid, but not a gas due the materials it is made from.The second tool, known as Ten no ugoki, is composed entirely of fire and wind affinity chakra that has been imbued with a Fuin kakari, allowing it to act as a link to Akuna. Ten no ugoki can be expelled or absorbed by Konoyo no baishitsu at any time as long as they are in relative proximity to one another. Regardless to its status, the Ten no ugoki acts as a medium through which Akuna can utilize her kekkei ninjutsu, or genjutsu for that matter. It should be noted that the Ten no ugoki has been bound, in part, to the Konoyo no baishitsu, making it exceptionally difficult to absorb. The chakratic construct does not get used up during battle however, Akuna must channel her own chakra through it to use jutsu through it, meaning she still utilizes chakra for her techniques.

The Konoyo no baishitsu is either sealed on her body, or it is utilized as part of her clothing, condensed heavily and altered slightly so as to be gentle on her skin. It should be noted that there is enough of the Konoyo no baishitsu's dust to create a single great Rashomon gate, though the gate will not be even one fourth as sturdy due to how spread out the materials making it are. As such, while the Konoyo no baishitsu is on her person (if it isn't in a seal) it weighs her down immensely and can only be somewhat canceled out by the Doton: Keijūgan no Jutsu making it light enough that Akuna can still move at the speed of an average shinobi, though she retains her great level of agility.

[I]Incredible durability:[/I] Due to continued exposure to the harsh vibrations of her kekkei tota, Akuna has become much more durable than even most seasoned shinobi, allowing her to withstand blows, and trudge on after attacks, that ought to kill most people. Because of this her body is capable of handling at least three to four times more pressure than the average shinobi of her rank. Slash and stab wounds will do more damage to her, but she can still keep running after a few as long as nothing immediately vital is hit.

[I]Genius level intellect:[/I] Considered a child prodigy in her youth, Akuna has since blossomed into an individual with genius level intelligence. She possesses incredible analytical skills not to mention her ability to process information at high speeds even in high stress situations. She can be very tactical, but is also fairly attuned to her senses and instincts, allowing her to do something intuitively, somewhat from muscles memory and somewhat from her own predictive abilities. She is keen to pick up patterns and the behavioral habits of those she is around, but while she can do this she does not make it obvious that she typically is.

[B][I]Description:[/I][/B]
The Furihaba Ametsuchi is a Kekkei tota that endows the user with large chakra reserves and the ability to manipulate their chakra in such a way as to create, or alter, vibrational patterns. This is achieved through the use of fire, at least in concept, as fire is created through the vibration of molecules or atoms so as to increase or decrease heat depending on the speed of the vibration. This is combined with the sound aspect of wind, as this is also based on vibrations. Earth is moulded as a tertiary element so as to facilitate the creation of tremors and other vibration-based phenomena that occur in the ground. These aspects are thus brought together to forge the Furihaba Ametsuchi Kekkei tota.

There are five levels of mastery in regards to the Furihaba Ametsuchi. The first level is the use of vibrations to create sound waves, this is the simplest of their abilities. The second level is achieved through the manipulation of molecular or chakratic structures to instigate heat or cold by increasing or decreasing the rate of vibration. The third level of mastery is achieved through mastery of the second, allowing inheritors to cut the air or manipulate its pressure via heat and vibrational waves. Additionally, the third level allows users to vibrate objects. The fourth level, which is typically the peak of Ametsuchi clansman, allows the user to influence their own body with vibrations without causing great damage to themselves. The 5th and final level is typically not reached however, when it is it can allow the user to greatly influence the vibrational states of objects and energies that they or their chakra comes into contact with. Additionally, the rare user gains Jinton, though use of it is exceptionally more difficult for them and to utilize it they must learn from someone who possesses the ability. The ability to utilize Jinton is extremely rare in members of the Ametsuchi and those who can use it do so sparringly due to how taxing it tends to be, not to mention that it is more difficult for them to create large scale techniques as they will often lose control of them during.

In terms of limitations, the Furihaba Ametsuchi has few however, there is one in particular to note. Users of the Kekkei tota are largely unable to influence the vibrations of objects and/or persons who are not in direct contact with either the user themselves or their chakra in some form. Additionally when chakra is channeled through an object it becomes much more difficult to influence through the use of the kekkei genkai unless chakra equivalent to a C rank technique or above is utilized to do so. Lastly it should be noted that while the users are mostly unable to influence the vibrations of people or objects without contact, they can still do damage by using a natural medium such as water or air regardless of the presence of themselves or their chakra. This kekkei genkai's chakra can be classified, for simplicity's sake, as Yureton.

This can also be used to link 2 seals with chakra within and thus make a path for things -like vibrations- to travel through. This seal is inscribed on her palms and the bottoms of her feet, allowing her to place them simply by making contact with an object and instigating a slight influx of chakra into the seal.

[B]Description:[/B] Preforming the three necessary handseals, Akuna channels her fire affinity into the Konoyo no baishitsu, beginning the process necessary to heat the material. Through the use of Yureton, she can precisely manipulate the temperature of the material, creating a rather dangerous weapon. It should be noted that this technique can be used through any medium, including living things, thus allowing the user to heat or cool the body of an individual, or object as long as her chakra, or her body comes into direct contact with the target.

[B]Description:[/B] While this technique does not utilize the lightning affinity, it does utilize a wide range of vibrations to manipulate their musculature and neural networks, amplifying the user's reaction times and the speed at which their nerves send impulses to the rest of their body. Additionally, the varied vibrational frequencies within the body allow the muscles to respond at a greater speed than before, as well as allowing the user's chakra system to be better synchronized with their physical form. As such this naturally causes an influx of chakra into their body to amplify their physical capabilities, making them faster and somewhat stronger than before. The speed of individuals utilizing this technique is equivalent to the speed achieved in the use of the Raiton no Yoroi. It should be noted that since Akuna at least starts out with the Konoyo no baishitsu on her body, she is slowly down somewhat, making her initial speed equivalent to roughly twice her normal speed. This technique can facilitate bursts of speed, but is more effective in terms of a constant, fluid movement speed.

[B]Weakness:[/B] This technique, when utilized by most, is highly taxing to the body. However, Akuna's mastery is such that she also utilizes the vibrations in to relax and maintain the structural integrity of her muscles, even reinforcing them with non-physicalized earth chakra. The user most continually supply chakra for this technique, though it is only a moderate amount. Generally this technique lasts for roughly 8 minutes before the user cannot use it for another 4.

[B]Description:[/B] A derivative of Kyōjisei-tai no – Kaminari no keiro, this technique is activated through the use of 1-3 handseals and the implementation of the wind affinity into, and around, the user's body. Forming an essentially invisible cone of wind around the user, with the point aimed in whichever direction they are moving, this technique cuts the air in front of the user, diverting it around the individual as well as letting it hit them, but only minimally, so as to gather around the bodies in a tight field. The wind chakra within the body streamlines movements and increases the acrobatic capabilities of the user, making it possible to bend without damage and preform incredibly acrobatic maneuvers. The field of wind chakra which gathers around the body can be utilized, at any point, to send blasts of air off of the body. The user can choose the direction and type of blast they wish to send on, but generally the blast is either localized to allow pulses of high speed movement wherein the user vanishes from sight, or it is used as an attack radially or in such a way as to be directed at an opponent. The blast is stronger depending on the amount of time this technique has been in use. The technique starts at C rank, simply amplifying fluidity, and as the wind field gathers it approaches B rank. This technique reduces strain on the user's body.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Cannot be utilized in tangent with Konoyo no kyōmei. Fire affinity jutsu that come into contact with the user's body will be amplified by the field of wind. However, due to the speed at which the individual is moving and the intensity of the moving cone of wind, the user is defended from C rank and below fire techniques. This technique initially requires a small influx of chakra equivalent to a D rank technique, but after that point it requires a constant stream of chakra as well as focus to maintain.

[B]Description:[/B] A derivative of Kyōjisei-tai no – Kaminari no keiro, this technique is initiated by 3 handseals and the amplification of the earth affinity chakra already reinforcing her musculature and other internal structures. Simply put, this technique extends the range of this reinforcement throughout the rest of her body, causing her to become much more resistant to physical blows in addition to her own blows carrying more weight behind them. She gains a resistance to fire affinity techniques and tai and kenjutsu-based attacks up to the rank of B.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Cannot be utilized in tangent with Tengoku no kyōmei. Due to the use of earth affinity, she gains a weakness to the lightning affinity. This technique is weakest against high rank piercing jutsu and also increases her physical weight, decreasing her speed by about 10%. This technique only requires a moderate amount of chakra for a C rank technique initially, though the user can input more chakra so that is lasts longer than its maximum of 8 minutes.

[B]Description:[/B] After the use of 6 handseals, the user has moulded together Yureton and Katon chakra and will then release it around themselves in a cloak that covers a space of 1.5 feet around from the surface of their body. On the surface of their skin is a layer of protective chakra, so as to ward off the heat of this technique. Whenever the user wishes it portions of this cloak can be fired off in much the same way as Tengoku no kyōmei. The user can also mould the fire affinity chakra into other jutsu. Any fire affinity chakra that comes into contact with this field will be diverted along its edges, with some of it being captured in the process.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Weakness to water affinity, which will douse the flames. This technique can only be maintained for roughly 3 minutes and it requires only an initial use of chakra to activate it. The user can utilize more chakra to maintain the amount of fire in the cloak.

[B]Description:[/B] Pushing wind affinity chakra out around her ankles and feet, or hands and wrists, Kyōakuna forms a cylindrical bubble around either set of limbs and then conducts Yureton chakra into the air bubbles. The air bubbles are moulded with a field of chakra that is impermeable from within, disallowing the vibrations from escaping them without her, or an object's, assistance. The longer the vibrations remain within the bubbles the more intensy they become as they bounce back and forth and amplify themselves. When an object comes into contact with one of the bubbles, or Akuna wishes them to do so, the vibrations will redirect towards the source of the object and blast in that direction, creating a powerful shockwave of sound. This attack, when used point blank can severely disorient those effected by it, throwing off their balance as the soundwaves vibrate the liquid in their ears. Additionally, the sound can be intense enough to cause physical pain, thus disorienting the effected individual even more. The technique can stun a person for anywhere between 3 and 6 seconds.

[B]Weakness:[/B] When released anywhere other than point blank the technique is essentially useless, though it can disrupt jutsu of equal rank, and slightly weaken techniques of B rank. Fire affinity techniques will be amplified by the wind of this technique, but only if they hit it before the vibrations are released. Additionally, despite this amplification the vibrations will offset the flames, spreading them thinner than before.

[B]Description:[/B] Utilizing soundwaves Akuna can manipulate the state, which a brain operates in, allowing the effected individual to go into a deep meditational state in which all of their mental abilities, and reaction time, are increased greatly. Typically she uses this technique on herself, though it could easily be used on others, though it might initially be difficult for them to adapt to.

[B]Weakness:[/B] Requires the the individual hear it. Additionally, the user can only maintain this technique for a maximum of 4 minutes after which point their mental state plummets back to normal creating an extremely disorienting sensation. This sensation lasts for roughly 8 seconds, but that is still enough time for one to be beheaded, or scorched to a crisp, in combat.

[B]Weakness:[/B] This technique can be resisted through a strong will, but when used at B rank it is very difficult to resist and so even skilled individuals may fall unconscious. The illusions that the user can create with this technique cannot be kai'd out of, though if the victim has good enough chakra control they can break the genjutsu with some effort.
