[b]Age[/b]: 146
[b]Class[/b]: 2-B, Eleventh Year

[b]Personality[/b]: Even among Shinigami, Ryuuko is a bit of a strange person. She's energetic, but not particularly driven or goal-oriented. Quite stubborn, and yet lacking in resolve. Friendly, and but not all that social. Still, she is fundamentally a good person, despite those and other assorted eccentricities. She likes humans, which explains her absurd desire to have a genuine school experience. As strange as this is, it helps her bond with Humans better than most Shinigami might be able to, which helps greatly in finding and investigating potential human threats or allies.

[b]Bio[/b]: Ryuuko is the current Shinigami protector of Karakura town, charged with purifying any rogue hollows in the area as well as keeping an eye on potential Human or Quincy powers. She was "born" in District 71 of West Rukongai, where she grew up into an impoverished and opportunistic enviroment alongside one older sister and a younger brother. Together, they did what they needed to in order to survive, but things began to take a turn for the worse as time passed by. In order to escape from some sort of trouble, Ryuuko began to awaken her latent spiritual abilities, after which she was eventually discovered by a roaming Shinigami and taken in to the Shinigami Academy to hone her skills.

It took a while, but Ryuuko eventually managed to graduate and be selected to join the Gotei 13. She took her entry-level position in Division 10, and over time has made her way up to being a Seated Officer (5th). She was recommended to her current position by the previous protector of Karakura town, and now works there out of an apartment, preforming all of the duties required of her while relaying regular reports to Soul Society.

[b]Zanpakuto[/b]: In its sealed form, Ryuuko's Zanpakuto appears like a simple Tanto with a straight blade roughly 11' in length. 
[b]Shikai[/b]: In its Shikai form, Ryuuko's Zanpakuto seems to duplicate itself, with another identical Tanto appearing to be grasped in her offhand. Her first blade is pure black with a long, white ribbon attached from the bottom. The second is pure white, trailing its own black ribbon. The blade lengthens a bit, although it's hard to tell at first glance.[/hider]
