Daxin smiled and stood by Ajax's side as he moved about greeting his guests and introducing her. She liked that he introduced her. It made her feel glad knowing that she was not just another face that stood next to him. ONce they got to his chair she glanced arond noticing that there was not a place for her to sit. 
she yelped almost when Ajax pulled her down on his lap. She smiled occwardly noticing the eyes that settled on them. This was very much scandelous for them to see. A propper lady of her class was expected to not show affection in public. She could feel her cheeks turning a light pink but she still stayed in place.
 When people moved about to the music Daxin was reminded about all the old parties she had been to. Ajax always danced when he finally got out of hidding. It was very nice and grand being able to twirl around a room with family and friends. This party was not like home. It was foriegn and very much dull. She watched as young ladies passed by them and sulked a bit. 
Others tried to flirt with Ajax at times which she found funny. When Ajax cleared his throut Daxin noticed how the room went silent. She took a deep breath trying not to notice the eyes on them. Her eyes avered to the floor while her mind racked around for something to think about other then the eyes. She stood up with him.

"So thank you all for......gracing me with your company. This is the biggest party of there year after all right?"

Daxin smiled as others cheered and whistled but then Ajax spoke again.

, " but tonight is also cause for another reason," he said standing up holding Daxins hand in his own he smirked. Her eyes opend a bit more and she turned to him curiously. What was this man going to do now? If he did anything that would embarass her she would have to simply excuse herself. She stayed quiet and waited for him to finish.
