They had walked for sometime now, and it seemed like only Solara was getting tired of the long journey. "So do you guys live here?" The question made its way from Solara's lips too naturally, almost like she was talking to a group of friends she had just been introduced to. "Does it look like we do?" one of the men looked back and said sarcastically but the remark made a smile form between her lips. Humans, she had learned were a bit like roaches, they attempted to infest any inhabitable piece of land that they could in a cancerous type manner. "So where do you come from?" Solara asked before noticing that the man, John, had never taken his eyes off her. She could tell because when she wiped the sweat from her forehead he tripped and fell due to not paying attention to where he was going. "Eyes forward, John, I'm not your type" Solara laughed before throwing a hand on her hips and breaking a pose as she leaned down offering him a hand. "Don't flatter yourself" John said without any hesitance or stuttering almost as if he detested the very idea that she was a viable partner. She almost believed his words, despite how hurtful, but his eyes betrayed him. He looked at her with a sense of curiosity, like a young boy looked at his first crush. He looked look at her like she was god, and to him, she was. "Just get up, the town is just a little further." She said with a smile just as bright as the sun which forced him to look away as she pulled him up to his feet. They continued a little further and eventually reached the town. John never looked back at her again, but he thought of nothing else. The town looked rather populated. Populated for the planet sized ball of trash that they were on anyways. Which was far more than she imagined. Her eyes strayed to the left and then moved to the right. She couldn't see any two people that were of the same race or that could pass for another. "This place sells meat of all kinds" The man, or rather beast, Oognak, that traveled with them mentioned as they passed the local butcher's shop. She glanced inside but continued walking straight before she backtracked her steps "Hold up" she told the ground who sighed in frustration. Inside the butcher's shop she saw what looked like another human "Hello" she called out to him from the entrance of the shop.
