This roleplay is about a small group of students (2-3) find a portal in a old abandon school building in the middle of the night. Little did they know that this portal lead to another world, well a school world to be exact. This world was completely for school. Ranging from all ages, this school world taught education to all ages no matter how small or how old they where or... If you where not even close to human...... She was raised in America as a child and led a normal life; Poppy's never lived in a horrible environment. Except for the fact that her mother and father were extremely religious, but that was a normal occurrence for her. They owned a church which attracted the attention of a lot of people. Poppy never really attended their events. Its not that she didn't like church, it was mainly because she was too focused on her studies, too busy trying to please her parents. Her whole life has been governed by her parent's wishes. For example, her mother believes that cutting Poppy's hair goes against God's will, so Poppy has never gotten a haircut. On her parent's whim, they moved in with Poppy's grandparents in Japan. Her parents wanted to become missionaries, they wanted to convert other people to their religion, and save them from damnation. Eventually, they stayed for the long run and Poppy was registered in her neighborhood's High School. After doing so, she finally made some friends who, one day were out adventuring, when they found a portal. Personality: Poppy is a clever girl. She's always getting some of the highest grades in her class. She's the type that's too honest to people that it hurts. You know that saying? The truth hurts. Poppy is a neat girl who always has her room tidy. She's tends to be extremely sarcastic and hates being interrupted. She's one of those reserved people who barely talks to people, unless she's speaking up to correct you. She's that one girl in class who is always ahead of everyone. She also gets really excited whenever her parents praise her of how well she's doing. As you can see, everything she achieves in life is for her parents. His mother wasn't the same as her sisters, who were vain and ruthless in their seduction. When she saw humans holding hands on the beach and taking each other out on romantic boat rides, she longed to have a man who loved her as well. So after her sisters led a boat of sailors to wreck their ship, she saved one of the men from drowning. He soon woke to see a woman beyond any mortal beauty, but she refused to speak, fearful that her voice may make him attracted to her. She wanted to have an honest courting, and they did indeed. The two shortly fell in love, or so she had thought. He was a man of the sea, and after a month he left her without a word. The only thing to come from their relationship was a broken heart and a baby boy, with eyes as blue as the ocean. Cyr's mom couldn't possibly raise a child, so he ended up in a foster home until he was old enough to be sent to a boarding school exclusively for monsters. Little does he know it was the story of his parents that inspired Disney's . Personality: True to his siren roots, Cyr can be extremely flirtatious. He has almost no sense of personal space and tends to act affectionately toward everyone, even if he's just met them, though no one is immune to his playful teasing. He's not dumb with his words, having an affinity for literature and sarcasm. He's certainly the type to get jealous, and has a strong competitive side. Once someone gains his trust, they'll see his gentler side, and he'll probably insist they cuddle while watching movies. He's more human than the other monsters attending the school, both in appearance and in the way he acts. Though he has the ability to manipulate and seduce anyone he wants with his voice, his moral standards prevent him from doing so unless provoked. Overall he's playful, even acting a bit childish from time to time, and tries to be friends with everyone he can. Ethnically, he's half Latino and Caucasian, with an olive skintone. He carries himself with an air of dignity at all times for reasons that are only apparent to him, and also usually dresses fairly nice considering he's no more or less rich then anyone else. Sometimes wears glasses while reading or examining things closely. Bio: One of twins born from an unusual marriage between two worlds, Hector's mother was a Selkie who arrived on board a ship with human immigrants from Europe, while his father was a Skinwalker who hailed from the wilderness of the Southern United States. From the beginning, their unique abilities didn't mesh well with their half-breed children. Hector and his brother Ardal nearly died at birth when the animal skin Selkies are usually born wrapped in ended up being a single snake skin tied around their necks, strangling them. While Ardal had to be made to breathe and eventually suffered permanent brain damage, Hector managed to come out of this unscathed, and as he grew older, he was forced to make a choice between his mother's people and his father's. Feeling unfit to live with either, he eventually went to live in the human world and found himself using his academic brilliance to study the biology a species essentially alien to him. The most satisfyingly amusing part of his day is seeing the nametag on his desk emblazoned with the words "Hector Robles, professor of Anthropology." Personality: While teaching, he can be stuffy and stoic, but this is merely a front to make him seem like the quintessential unapproachable college professor to his students. Hector at home, in his personal life, is actually very laid back and fun loving with a dry sense of humor. He finds that his family is the most important thing to him, and holds that relationship in high regard. He's definitely not much of a fighter, and would rather roll over and give in then get into it with someone. Some even may accuse him of being cowardly, a fact not helped by cowardice already being a trait his family has been plastered with each generation. This is unwise though, as he's understandably very touchy about such accusations and will find a way to get back at you besides fisticuffs.
